Week 3: Matthew’s Return?

Matthew was supposed to return home from his trip on this day. He didn’t. Instead we received a call from one of the chaperones. They told us that the police had all northbound roads blocked off on account of a forest fire that was tearing through central Florida. The students would be spending the night at a local hotel.

My wife and I both spoke with Matthew briefly. We told him we loved him and that we would see him soon.
