Week 6: The Central Florida Blockade

I reached the blockade just north of Orlando. It was literally a wall that cut across the landscape from east to west. Whoever built it had used those concrete wall segments you often see for road construction.  Stacked them two deep on the bottom and then added a second row on top of that, zigzagging across the two base pillars. Segments of chain link fence, barbed wire, sandbags and just about anything else the architects could get their hands on had been added like patchwork pieces.

Honestly I could not tell if the wall had originally been built to keep those things in or out of the Orlando area. If the intention had been to stop the flow of zombies from moving south, then it was a success. The zombies had hit the wall and remained.

I am looking at them now. The crowd stretches along the perimeter of the wall and is at least fifty heads deep. There has to be thousands of the fuckers. There is no way I can make it past the blockade here, so I am moving on, to the west.
