I am okay on water for now. What I don’t have is food. Maybe I can eat some of the pages from my journal. It worked for Caleb. I’ll start with the worst days.
Damn, I forgot about Caleb. I hope he is okay. The library is a solid brick building. There aren’t a lot of large windows on it. The weakest part is the front door which is glass but I boarded it up pretty good. If the stampede made its way through there, I think the building should have withstood it. I hope so.

Surely there must be something on the roof that can be used as a makeshift weapon(s). Dropping bricks or larger, heavier obejects onto zombie heads may incapacitate them. If the building is only 1 floor, perhaps he could make a long spear that could be useful to stab at their necks from above.
Bricks are a possibility but remember you have to destroy the lower brain at the base of the skull to kill these zombies. Blunt objects dropped on top of the head won't do it. Stabbing them is also difficult as you have to go up from under the chin to get at the vulnerable area. He may get lucky and get a couple via these methods, but there are at least thirty down there.
Who knows what he may try if he gets desperate enough, though.
