Sarah. I have no idea what to do about Sarah.
Aside from the white perspiration, she looks and acts perfectly normal. Just don’t touch her or anything she may have gotten sweat on. Apparently that is what happened to her husband and it is also how she found out she was a carrier.
After she was first bitten her husband Jake took care of her. Their situation sounded a lot like what Maria and I went through. After about four days she had Jake tie her up and keep a gun at his side. On the fifth day, her fever subsided and her hives began to fade away. She felt fine and they thought she had been cured. Jake was going to untie but as he reached for the rope he paused. Jake looked at her and told her he loved her. He leaned down and kissed Sarah and that is when he started convulsing.
He fell across her on the bed and started flopping around like a fish. Sarah saw the hives rise on his skin in a matter of seconds. Finally he just passed out. Sarah was still tied up and she struggled to free herself… so that she could try to help him. After about five minutes Jake just stood up. He had a blank look on his face and he started to wander aimlessly around the room, drooling. Sarah called to him, pleaded with him, but Jake just ignored her. He had turned.
Sarah began to chew through the ropes that bound her arms. It took her about four hours to finally cut through them. By that time Jake had managed to escape from the house and wander off to God knows where. She hasn’t seen him since.
