Week 30: Planning the Desecration of St. Matthews

Ever since the leader brought his ward to St. Matthews the wall that surrounds it has remained unattended. Brad knows of several weak points with which we can gain entrance, including the one he used to escape.

At night everyone sleeps in the Trust building, the big three story one. While everyone else is sleeping four sets of two-man teams patrol the safe zone and all its buildings. One team walks the perimeter, another patrols the Trust building, the third team walks the interior grounds and the last team is dedicated to the strip mall.

The strip mall has four shops and that is where they store all supplies. The first shop on the north end works as a processing center. The next shop over is dedicated to storing food. The shop after that is used to store fuel and equipment. The last shop on the south end is the weapon hold.

If we are lucky our stuff will still be in the processing center.

The grocery store on the other side of town works as both their church and hospital. We’ll need a diversion and I hate to set fire to the hospital, but I have no issues with torching the abomination they call a church. Brad has assured me that there are no sick people staying in the hospital section. Apparently people who are injured to the point of becoming a burden to the group find themselves with a one-way ticket to heaven.

So we will set the grocery store on fire and while everyone is distracted with that we can find our stuff and take off. We may have to deal with the two guards at the strip mall but with any luck they will leave to help put out the fire.
