Week 31: “A” for Effort

We are on the search for Matthew again.  Brad seems to think that Matthew was trying to go west to the next interstate.  That’s reasonable since Matthew probably thinks Mike is still chasing after him and is avoiding I-95.  Might also explain why Matthew hasn’t tried to leave me any messages as to where he is going.  He wouldn’t want Mike to see them.

Going is tough and the zombies are fierce.  We have had a few close calls already, mainly due to Brad.  He is so eager to prove himself to us that he goes flying into battle without really thinking it through.  Then we have to rescue him. 

Brad is in a tough position, I understand that.  Traveling with strangers, probably being chased by some cult, and all the while trying to deal with the whole fire incident.  I get it. 

But if that boy gets himself bit I won’t hesitate to put a bullet in his brain.  I don’t need that kind of drama slowing us down.   Not anymore.
