Seems the Cunninghams had a family pickup truck. A 1976 Ford to be exact. Big as a boat and still runs like a top, according to Edith. Before we left I took some wood and chicken wire to rig up a pretty sturdy animal pen in the trucks bed so we could bring along the two chickens and the goat. Otherwise known as Henny, Penny, and Tom.
The way it works is Brenda, Matthew, and I go first in the big rig clearing the way. Edith and Harvey follow close behind in the pickup truck. We maintain communication with a couple of battery powered walkie talkies. So far it has worked pretty well.
Edith and Harvey also brought along their own stash of weaponry and skills. Edith seems to be pretty handy with a rifle and she claims that Harvey is a master hunter. Apparently growing up in the country means you have to hunt… even if you are a 65 year old grandma.

wait... "all six of us?" Does someone count as two?
Hmmm, I believe that was a miscalculation on my part. Either that or Edith is grossly overweight.
Brad would have made 6. IF HE DIDN'T TURN INTO A ZOMBIE AND DIE.
too soon.
Oh no, now you went and upset King Shaddix. :o
Everytime I read "Edith" I visualize Edith Bunker and can almost hear her warbling voice "Ooooo Hahhveee the zombeeeez are cahmin fer usss.."
