There is no way I am going to break up our little convoy. And I sure as hell am not taking us north back toward Atlanta. So I guess our only option will be to take the back roads south to Tallahassee. It will be slow going but we don’t have much of a choice.
My biggest fear is that time may be running out. The zombie packs are getting bigger and more numerous. Not to mention they seem to be heading south. It won’t be long before the zombie migration is in full force again.
…
Harvey told me something odd today. Somehow we got to talking about the zombie attack at the ranger station. Well at least I was talking about it, Harvey mostly just listens. Anyway, I mentioned that it was lucky that Harvey woke up when he did.
Harvey then stated very matter-of-factly that he did not wake up; that he was waiting.
I asked him, “Waiting for what? The zombies?”
He got a surprised look on his face, just for a second. It was the kind of look you get when you accidentally let the cat out of the bag. Then he went blank and wouldn’t say anything else.
I tried to question him further but Edith came to his rescue and said it was time for bed.

Jesus Christ he's a carrier. They must be able to sense the zombies just like the zombies sense them.
hmm. but if he was a carrier, that would mean that the zombies would steer clear of them.
Didn't Harold say something about the carriers not being the only strange off shoot of the virus? Or maybe Harvey is psychic? Maybe his grandmother said that dad or grandpa went out and would be back? Nice twist to the story Simon.
