We barely had enough time to find a new vehicle. The semi was about empty and we had to stop at the next town we came to. It was small and there wasn’t much to choose from.
We split up into pairs, Matthew and I searched one side while Brenda and Harvey searched the other. Harold just hung back and watched. We tried to be picky at first, looking for a good vehicle, something strong but small and wouldn’t guzzle gas. At the same time it had to have enough room for us and what supplies we had left.
As we searched the zombies started to overtake us. They just came flowing down the streets, slowly at first but then at full speed once they noticed us. I was in the process of checking out an old Honda Accord so that is what I went with. At least the keys were in the ignition and it had half a tank of gas.
Matthew and I cruised up the road and picked up Brenda. Harvey was no where to be seen. Brenda said he just took off. I had to make a tough decision. The zombies were going to overtake us if we didn’t get moving. So we left him. We left Harvey.
I wish I could change things but I can’t. I just have to trust that if anyone can make it, he can.

An interesting situation. Maybe he was trying to distract them and help them? Wondrous development. Great job Simon. In my own opinion I'm surprised Mr. Taylor wasn't more shaken about losing Harvey especially since fewer people means fewer help. I can understand he's seen a lot, but it feels like he's becoming more and more emotionless. Is this is an effect of the stress in this world?
Something tells me that Harvey doesn't have anything to worry about as far as getting infected goes... :)
Tony - You could definitly say it is something like that. Eventually you are desensitized to it and you just have to worry about whats ahead of you, not behind you.
Librarian - Well at the very least, he does have zombie radio. :)
