Week 49: The Official Diagnosis

It would appear that I now suffer from some kind of super form of Lupus. This is a condition where your immune system begins to attack your body, or at least parts of it. In my case it has been attacking the blood-brain barrier in my head and the cartilage in my joints.

These doctors and scientists have some pretty wild theories about what is going on. Really they are just wild ass guesses. They seem to think my mega-enhanced mutated immune system is stuck in attack mode. Now that the Legion has been cleared from my system it is looking for new battles to fight.

Whatever. Just admit you fucked me up and be done with it. I can’t get that mad. I mean my alternative was to die and become a zombie. Now my body is just going to tear itself apart. At least I won’t come back as a meat puppet when it is all over.

Harold has suggested a rather unorthodox solution to my problem. Harold seems to think I should just get infected with Legion again. Give my immune system something to fight other than my own body.

It kind of makes sense.

I ain't digging this idea. What if he gets too much Legion? Too dangerous

It would definitely be a tough balancing act to accomplish, should he try it.

Seems to me that this is what happens to a carrier who's got nothing to carry.

Well he really has not other choice. Either he dies of infection, or dies a painful slow death.
