Week 14: Breaking Through

I have made it to the south wall. The army is gone. The soldiers are gone. All that remains are the headless corpses of zombies rotting in the sun. Oh, and bullet shells. LOTS of bullet shells.

I can tell there was a fierce battle. Judging by the size of the hole that has been punched through the blockade I would say the stampede came through in full force.

I wonder what happened to the soldiers who were stationed here. I hope there came a point in the battle where they decided to retreat to safer ground. I fear that they fought to the bitter end then rose back up to join the other side.

I have to cross the wasteland that is central Florida now, so maybe I will find out. Thanks to the zombie passage at least this time I can drive through.

The mysterious stampede...it's got me curious. What is our hero driving? Did he get his car back from where he was saved by the Rock n Roll Angel or does he have the semi?

He is actually in an Econoline van. Just another randomly salvaged vehicle. His other car was too damaged from hitting the building and unfortunately he doesn't know how to drive a semi.
