I made it. I am waiting to enter the downtown area. They have me in quarantine until tomorrow and then I will be free to go in. The soldier said that it is standard procedure and nothing to worry about. I guess when someone is infected it can take up to 12 hours for the red hives to appear.
Other than that, I was put through the usual strip search and physical that I have become accustomed to. Hell, they can do a cavity search for all I care, as long as they let me in. There is a feeling in the air around here that is hard to describe. I mean it is a zombie free zone on the other side of this wall. It’s like the Promised Land and I know this has to be where Matthew is.
