Week 20: Another Hazard with Driving at Night

I discovered that difficulty in finding shelter is not the only reason to avoid driving at night. Visibility is naturally less at night, and with zombies that just wander aimlessly into the road, trying to dodge them at any speed greater than 20 mph becomes an exercise in futility.

I hit about 4 of them over the course of the night. The last one was a biggie. At least 350 lbs. Bubba did some real damage to the van. Ripped off my battering ram and bent the right front tire well in so far it is rubbing against the tire.

In the morning I guess I'll look for some kind of mechanic shop or warehouse where I might be able to fix the damage. I might even have to trade the van in for something new.
