Week 20: Attracting a crowd

I found some kind of warehouse to stay in. Not sure what it is, maybe a body shop or something. It is large and has a lot of wrecked vehicles laying around inside. The building itself is structurally sound and all the roll doors can close and lock. It also has a wide variety of tools; hand operated and pneumatic. If I can find a way to get power to the compressor we will be in business.

...

I think I figured out what this place is. I think it is some kind of evidence storage for vehicles that were involved in accidents. I noticed all the vehicles had forms taped to them referencing lawsuits; Henderson, John v. Ford Motor Company, Cunningham, Kelli v. Crook, Shane, South Carolina Highway Patrol v. Grace, Tom, et. al. and many others.

I still can't figure out why they have all the tools, though. I wouldn't think you would want to destroy evidence.

...

I may be able to get the compressor going. Despite the damage to it, my van still runs. If I can get a power inverter and some more gas I can run the compressor from the van's cigarette lighter.

I better be quick about it though. From the sounds of the banging on the south wall I would say we are attracting a crowd. It won't be long before they have the whole building surrounded.
