Week 40: Animal Farm Lost

Harvey has been silent ever since Edith died. Not a word, not even an emotion has crossed his blank face. He just goes through the motions, following us, helping were he can, but not responding to a single thing.

We lost the pickup truck during the midnight assault. I’m not sure when it happened but at some point it actually got tipped over. Was the zombie surge so big that they actually managed to tip over a truck? I don’t know. All I know is that when we returned later that day the truck was on its roof and the pen in the back was busted open. Henny, Penny, and Tom were long gone.

Now we are continuing in a south west direction, all of us packed into the semi. I have no idea where we are. I figure as long as we head south we are bound to hit I-10 eventually.

Our biggest problem is finding fuel. The rig runs on diesel and unfortunately that is not as common as gas. We spend way too much time at each stop just looking for fuel.
