We have managed to stay ahead of the zombie wave. For once we have had some good luck and the past few days have been cold. On the down side I feel like we are being herded in a particular direction. We need to go south east in order to reach Tallahassee, but the best we can accomplish is south west. Any other direction and we hit a moving wall of zombies.
It’s kind of weird not knowing what to expect from the weather. You just take for granted being able to access a weather forecast whenever you want. Of course back then a thing like knowing what the temperature wasn’t a matter of life and death either.
…
It seems we have a tag-along. I believe it is the army scientist, Harold of Oklahoma City. He started driving along behind us in his ATV a few hours ago. Didn’t flag us down, didn’t try to communicate with us in any way. He just seems to be traveling in our wake and letting us clear the path ahead.
Fine by me. Next time we stop I’ll have a talk with him. I might be able to dig up some more info about the zombies.
