Harvey has returned to us and he is a pitiful sight to say the least. His body is covered in bite marks. Zombie bite marks. The poor kid seems to still be alive but he is not even conscious.
We have Harold to thank for his return. Apparently when the zombies swarmed us, Harold went back for Harvey.
Sure it makes me feel like shit for abandoning the kid, but I had others to think about. Matthew and Brenda. It wouldn’t just be my life I’d have been risking had I returned for Harvey.
Anyway, when it happened, Harold said that he saw Harvey go down. He said a swarm of zombies dog piled onto Harvey and started chewing. Harold began advancing on them when the zombies suddenly seemed repelled by Harvey. Like the taste of Harvey made them sick or something. They all scattered and left Harvey alone. So Harold laid Harvey over the back of his ATV and took off.
Seems Harold is pretty confident that Harvey can’t be infected. He sure as hell was taking a risk loading Harvey up and riding off with him like that. But as Harold points out, other than being unconscious, Harvey shows no other signs of infection. Brenda pointed out that with this many bites, if Harvey was going to turn he would have done it already.
I still insisted that we bind Harvey’s arms and legs. Just as a precaution.
