We made it to the place where Brenda had been abducted and continued west. About a mile or so further and we came across a road sign, “St. Matthews 6 miles”.
Sounded like a message from a higher power. Well, maybe not, but at the very least I figure if Matthew saw a town with a name like that, he would have gone there.
